St Patrick’s Day at The Hatter
Since the 5th century, Ireland has wildly celebrated our favorite holiday — St Patrick’s Day. This year, in Malta, we are bringing a little more than a taste of it to The Hatter!
The holiday is said to mark the death of Ireland’s patron saint, St. Patrick, who brought Christianity to the island nation during his lifetime. Back home, the holiday traditionally includes parades, festivals and cultural music sessions known as the céilithe.
The streets are awash with green attire and shamrocks galore, with everyone coming together to celebrate. This is the spirit we’re bringing this year to the Hatter Malta, so head down for a delicious pint of Guinness and some other festive treats especially for the day.
The Festive Menu
We’ll be celebrating all weekend, so you can head down to us at The Hatter and enjoy our delicious St Patrick’s Day menu. Crafted by our expert bartenders and served by our topnotch floor staff, you can enjoy a menu that includes Jameson Stout & Soda, Jameson Ice Tea, Black Velvet and an Irish Russian.
Bringing in Irish takes on some classic choices. If you’re a fan of Jameson, you can grab cocktails with both the Jameson Stout cask edition in the “Jameson Stout & Soda” and the Jameson IPA edition in the “Jameson Ice Tea”.
The old favorite Guinness will also be available, poured with the utmost respect, care and consistency all throughout the holiday. You can also enjoy a further two cocktails that include the use of the cultural icon, in the “Black Velvet” that puts the dry stout in a flute glass accompanied by some light prosecco.
You can also find a Gaelic twist on the White Russian that brings a rich creamy texture to the day with an offering that includes Vodka, Kahlua, Guinness, and Coca-Cola in the “Irish Russian”.
